The MADCAT label, started in 1999, is designed for New Zealand’s thinking women who want to enhance their wardrobes with dynamic and unique investment pieces.

MADCAT designer Jill Alexander is regarded as one of New Zealand’s most experienced fashion designers. Jill enjoys 30 successful years in fashion education and the fashion industry, which started with three years of intensive design training at the exclusive St Martins School of Art, London.

Every collection is based on a theme and is supported by extensive visual research. The MADCAT silhouette is defined by Jill. Beautiful textiles are collected and embellished with hand printed textiles and embroidery. Each garment is designed through drawing and draping, samples are then cut with careful attention to tailoring to enhance the curves of the female form

Every garment sold across New Zealand is completed by a single machinist for optimum quality. Care is taken every step of the way to produce the quality MADCAT garment that will be your favourite and last for many seasons to come.

The staff in our MADCAT boutiques look forward to you calling and have a wonderful time trying on madcat garments to complete your look for the season.
